This Church was originally built in 1911 on a property at Timbumburi and served the community well in years gone by. It became dormant as a church as transport became modern and the congregation moved to Tamworth.
The Pyne Chapel was donated to Tangaratta Vineyards in 2004, by the Timbumburi property owner, Mrs. Dulci Pyne and family, in memory of her late husband Mr. Harry Pyne, a prominent Tamworth businessman.
Mr. Tom Coulton transported the building to the current site at the vineyard where it stands today. A portico has been added to the Chapel to allow for those special bridal photos, with the vineyard in the background.
It is the ideal venue for a quaint country wedding.
The Pyne Chapel, surrounded by beautiful gardens in our grounds, provides a tranquil and beautiful place to exchange wedding vows.
